Christmas Pop Up

For the past few years Saint Louis has graced us with some magical Christmas events and themed places, including the holiday Pop-Up bars.  Last year I was able to experience the Union Station Grand Hall Holiday bar with spectacular Christmas décor, lights and delicious drinks in a truly already beautiful space. This year I had a close friend in town visiting from California over the holidays so I decided to map out a holiday pop up hop! We made it to Lazy Tiger’s Filthy Animal Pop-up holiday bar first. This pop-up bar was inspired by the movie Home Alone and all their décor, drinks and tv screenings were all inspired by the movie. It was such a fun them; I had the “Your Girlfriend, Woof” Eggnog and my friend tried the “Fuler, Go Easy on the Pepsi” and both drinks were perfection. I know some people are not the biggest fans of Eggnog, but it is my favorite holiday cocktail. Our Second stop was at Sippin Santa a Christmas Paradise Themed Pop-Up. The decorations at Sippin Santa covered every inch of the building, even outside was screaming Christmas. If you get the chance to check this out next year, make sure you make a reservation well in advance. We didn’t have reservations but were able to wait for a table but also had a time limit on how long we were able to stay. Sippin Santa definitely had the best nog of the night so we decided to make this our last Christmas Pop up before heading to dinner.  The next week I decided to keep exploring our holiday pop up bars and was also able to make it to the Piper Palm Holiday pop up and Three Sixty Rooftop Pop-Up with a different group of friends. The Piper Palm is gorgeous all on its own but it looked ever more beautiful with the Christmas décor and lights everywhere. The holiday inspired cocktails were light, delicious and beautiful. The Piper Palm is in Tower Grove Park and finding parking was a little difficult so keep that in mind and plan ahead. Same goes for the Three Sixty Rooftop Pop Up Bar, unless you are doing valet, I suggest parking in BPV and paying the $5. The Three Sixty Rooftop Christmas Pop Up is actually one of my favorite ones. The decorations are fantastic, love a rooftop vibe and you have the option of getting a full meal here. There are so many other Holiday festivities I could write about, and I promise next year I will! One thing is for sure, Saint Louis does the Holidays right!
